Gambling debt

Reading today I see that Charles Barkley owes a casino in Las Vegas $400,000 and if fails to repay the loan they will file criminal charges. I wonder if this gambling problem that he freely admits to will keep him from running for the Governor of Alabama like he has been planning to. I for one do not think they need a person with a gambling addiction running a multi billion dollar government. I respected Charles Barkley when he played basketball and he is a good announcer but Governor? I say NO
