My older brother recently had his 15 year marriage break up and after being out of the dating world for that many years my brothers is faced with dating in the real world. Over the weekend I was saddened to see that Sydney Pollock had died of cancer. I have really enjoyed his movies over the years and his loss will be felt in both the movie world and our also. A sad weekend to be sure. His best movie with out a doubt was “Out of Africa” God speed Sydney.

It is very possible that there will be a triple crown winner in horse racing this year. Big Brown has looked unbeatable in the first two legs of the triple crown. The story this week about him having a sore hoof will put a bit of drama into the next race, but I for one think he will pull it off, and become the first triple crown winner in about thirty years. A great feat for any horse and brilliant in my opinion. The last leg will be very grueling but I think Big Brown will pull it off. I will be glued to the TV.
