New Bank

Tuesday, August 26th, 2008

One of my things on my to do list for this week is to find a new bank; one closer to the house and to the business. The bank we have been dealing with is just too far away from home to make it very convenient to do our banking. With gasoline so high, a 25 mile trip to the bank 3-4 times a week is not very cost efficient, and we need a bank that is closer to where we live and do business. I hate to spend my time in a bank doing business – it is time I will never get back and it serves almost no purpose at all, to anyone except the bank itself.

Car loan

Tuesday, August 19th, 2008

My sister has been looking for a car loan to get a new car for her and her children, I know she has had issues since her divorce and will be needing to get a Car Loan with Bad Credit, and that is not a very easy ladder to climb. I did some searching for her and found a great site that offers car loans for people with bad credit or even no credit. Basic Car Loans has a lot of different loans to offer to people with bad credit and it is a nice change from most of the loan companies, I was amazed at the amount of different kinds of loans available at Basic Car Loans. Check out their web site at http://www.basiccarloans.com to see if they have a car loan for you or someone you know who needs credit help.

Training Camp

Wednesday, August 13th, 2008

One of the best things about having the Tennessee Titans train here in Nashville is they allow the public to attend most of the practices at Baptist Sports Park. I have gone as much as having a full time job will allow and it is a very fun place to take my six year old grandson. David loves the football players and has been to a few games but I think the most fun he has is when he goes to one of the practices there is so much activity it boggles the mind.

Olympics

Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

The Olympics start in 2 days and I fear I will miss a lot of the action this year due to work. I have watched every Olympics since 1968. I have not missed much in that time I used to video tape the days action and then watch it later on. I do not have a recorder at this time so that is not an option, I wish they had it on demand so I could watch it later on. I keep up with the results in the newspaper and online so I at least know who wins and what is going on while I am working. A lot of great performances will be missed by me this year and it makes me very sad.
