We are under a tornado watch, and it looks like we could be in for a bad storm this time. It is coming at us in waves and each one seems to get stronger and stronger. Last year we had some early storms that were very strong. I guess March is going out like a lion this year, but it came in like a lion so it should go out like a lamb. Oh well March is a lion this year on both ends. Now we are under a warning for Davidson County so I guess I better go get under cover.

Lemonade

One of the things that I really miss in the winter is lemonade. This springtime special is not as tasty in the winter you just do not feel like having lemonade when it is cold outside, hot tea and hot chocolate are a lot more winter time treats to me at least. I really love spring and all the special things that are better in the warm seasons including lemonade. Baseball and lemonade are two of my favorite spring time treats.

March came in like a lion and lets hope it goes out like a lamb like the old proverb says. I like the month of March except for one thing, the storms that we get are sometimes very strong. I do not like feeling like I have a bullseye on my back with a tornado approaching. I keep close watch on the TV when it looks like we could get a storm.
I remember as a small girl hiding under my bed as an F-4 tornado destroyed the Oklahoma town we lived in back then, and I have had a healthy respect for the storms since that night long ago and far away. My family was safe only because of a miracle, and you cannot expect every storm to come with your own personal miracles.

Every year it seems like that I need a new phone and of course they make you sign a two year contract, so any phone you need before two years are up you wind up paying for. The price of phones is not all that high and you can find a real nice phone for almost no money and that makes upgrading your phone not as big a deal as it used to be when the phones cost a lot more. I need a new phone so today we are going phone shopping, one of the most fun things you can ever do on your only day off of the week.
