I forgot how much of a chore it is to have a puppy in the house. This little Pug of mine has decided that he loves shoes, loves them so much that he has to devour them and then bring them to you to display the chewed up and former piece of footwear right under my nose or even worse, right on the pillow that my head is laying and resting on at night. Other than have a foot wear fetish and constantly begging for the many treats that I always have on hand in various parts of the house, he is one of the best dogs that I’ve ever owned.
However I do believe that it would be in my best interest if I purchased a couple of pet gates that I could place in a couple of doorways that would help reduce the amount of ruined shoes, slippers, boots and flip flops that are being attacked around here. I know that I will have to find one that fits wide openings, because there is nothing normal-sized in this house, I’ve learned that the hard way through out the past couple of years. But it should be too difficult to find a good safety gate looking online, which is on my list of things to do this weekend. It’s supposed to be cold and wet this weekend, so I plan on staying home as much as possible.
