New Insurance

Our small business has decided to get a new insurance carrier for our employees. The one that we are going to use is Kaiser Permanente.

They are the largest non profit heath coverage provider in the country. They serve 9 states and the District of Columbia. They are guided by the needs of their customers not the need to make a profit.

New Motorcycle Boots for The Mrs.

Am trying to find a good quality pair on womens motorcycle boots for the Mrs. The boots that she used to wear on the bike were melted beyond repair when last fall she accidentally got her boots too close to the muffler, thank goodness she was wearing boots because she would have had one heck of a burn on her leg.

It really irks both of us to see people riding around with tennis shoes, or worse yet – flip flops. Guess they need to learn the hard way, but the hard way is such a painful way to learn a lesson when you are talking about burns.

As our business continues to grow we now have an urgent need to purchase a new delivery van to replace our old van that now has over two hundred thousand miles on it. My grandmother is getting older but that doesn’t mean she’s slowing down. You won’t believe it but she’s even got her own blog at 87 years old! I got her exedesatelliteinternet.net internet last year and she’s been loving it, so much so that she started a granny blog, as she calls it, to keep the family up to date with her adventures. She’s constantly travelling with her friends or going to bridge nights and she even adopted a cat last year so that’s keeping her mighty busy with vets and all that. I hope one day when I’m her age I can hope to be even a tiny bit as active as she is – between pool aerobics and biking and even singing in the church choir I just don’t know how she has time for it all! I love her to death and I‘m happy to say that my grandma is still my inspiration.

Spring is finally here. I am so tired of the wind and the rain and the cold that we have had this winter. I love to go fishing and that is one thing that is very hard to do in the winter. We do get a few days that can be used for golf or fishing but not many this time of year.
