Cheesecake has always been one of my favorite desserts. Even as kid when most of my brothers and sisters turned their noses up when Cheesecake was served after dinner a few times a year, I was a happy camper since that meant more Cheesecake for me. Back then I really wasn’t into the many toppings that you can find and put on a Cheesecake. Once in a while my mother would have a bowl of cherry topping beside the Cheesecake for those that wanted to put some on their individual serving. She was always serving things separate trying to accommodate the various tastes and choices in our large family.
While cherry is still one of my favorite Cheesecake toppings I also enjoy a good Raspberry Swirl or sometime a Turtle Cheesecake is in order. Actually I’ve never had a topping that I didn’t like, just better Cheesecake at some places than others. Now I have a hankering for Cheesecake wouldn’t you know!
