On Facebook today my 13 year old niece posted that she had just heard about fried Kool Aid and how it sounded yucky, so I just had to let her know that these Deep Fried Kool Aid Balls are very popular at carnivals, circus midways and board walks alike. I then looked up a recipe online and sent it to her to see what all it entailed and darned if she isn’t going to go ahead and make some up tonight with her mother!

I can’t wait to see how she likes them and hear her thoughts about these interesting novelty snacks made from my all time favorite drink, Kool Aid.
