Solar Is Made Easy

I love how they have made it to where solar is made easy for most of us these days. Back when I was growing up solar power was something that you only heard and read about but never saw. These days there seems to be solar just about every where you look. The new high school that is getting ready to open it’s doors come this September has gone way over and above in being Green than anyone of us would have ever imagined when it was first being talked about. The kids that get to go there are going to some kind of lucky to have so much thought and consideration put into being such a Green school, what a difference in the way our schools were run and put together back in my day.

There are several houses in the neighborhood have solar panels installed and seem to be happy with the way that they are now receiving some of their energy and the way their energy bills have been getting lower and lower instead of the way most of ours have been on the rise. I would be interested in having a solar company come out and give me an estimate to see what I could do around here, solar wise. Maybe I’ll take a look around online and see if there is a local company that can come out.

New furniture

With my birthday coming up we have decided to redecorate the home office that we share and get some new bedroom furniture for our home. It also looks like my sister in law may be coming to live with us in the next couple of months along with her youngest daughter, so we need to get ready for that if it happens. Arturia Software for Graduation Present

It looks like I will be purchasing the Arturia Software that my niece needs to give to her as her graduation gift in just a few short months. She is one of my favorite nieces and I had promised her that I would get her something that she really wants/needs if only she would stay in school, get good grades and graduate. I’m so pleased that she made such an effort and is indeed going to be graduating with her 2012 classmates, because for a while there it wasn’t looking so promising.

 

Going to the lake

The weather today is simply beautiful and we are going to take advantage of it, and go to the lake and spend a little time on the boat. I really love this time of year here in Nashville, the weather is nice enough to go to the lake almost every day. I love to go fishing so that is a good thing at least it is to me not sure how the fish feel about it.

Gregory Packs

It seems that the Gregory packs are the best back packs that we have ever had the pleasure of purchasing for the kids to use each school year. Back packs really have to put up with a lot of use and abuse and so many of them give out well before the end of the school year and we end up having to buy all new ones all over again. So I’m glad that we have finally found a brand that actually takes a licking and keeps on ticking, as they used to say.
