I hate to say it but we have had enough rain to last us for a while, we need a sunny day so we can get out and do some fun stuff. There is a nice carnival set up at the mall and we have not gone yet because of the rain every day, we do not want to be there if it starts with the thunder and lightning. We missed a great fireworks show last night because of the rain. I was surprised that they still set off the fireworks; we could see the flashes over the trees. Rain go away.

Safe and Secure Mailboxes

I bought one of the nicer of the Front Loading, 1-Tenat mailboxes that I was able to find on the Internet a few months back. I found it at approvedclustermailboxes.com and I couldn’t be happier with it. It is made out of heavy gauge aluminum and 300 series stainless steel components so I think it should last a good long while. Mailboxes serve an important function in our lives, so it only makes sense to have a decent one that will last a good long while since it is out in the weather 24/7 and all year long and can age rather quickly if not made with quality materials.
Our old mailbox only lasted a few years and I was not happy with the prospect of having to purchase a new one, but I’m glad that I did. Now I have one of the mailboxes that might end up saving us from having our mail stolen and possibly a case of identity theft, ya never know and you can’t be too careful these days, since school is out and there will be a boat load of kids out there with time on their hands, looking for mischief. Mailboxes seem to be an attraction for vandalism each summer while school is out.

Manny and I have been best buds since back in our Junior High school days. He was the best man at my first and only wedding and I can truly say that I love this guy. I never thought that the time would come where I was to be helping him find the best Los Angeles moving company available in order to make sure that everything that he owns and holds dear to his heart makes it out west safe and sound.
He has so much on his mind right now that I don’t mind a bit doing what I can for him and besides it is a pretty easy task considering how the Internet has made this whole process easier. All I had to do was Google “LA movers” and badda boom, badda bing I found several that I have contacted and I think I have found the perfect Los Angeles movers that will do just fine and without charging him an arm and a leg.
It’s gonna suck not having him around like I’ve gotten so used to after all these years, but at least we have email, cell phones, texting, Instant Messaging, and now of course we both use Facebook to keep in close contact with each other. And of course I will always have an open invitation to his place whenever I find myself in that part of the country.
Snake

As we were walking the dogs today Diva jumped straight up in the air and freaked out, as I got closer I noticed that we have a six foot long snake in our yard, add this critter to the herd of critters we already have and our zoo is growing rapidly. In recent days we have had a fourth squirrel join the three we already had and the rabbits are thick we even see a deer once in a while. All of this and we live inside the city limits of Nashville, I wounder how many animals we would have if we lived out in the country.
