Appreciating The River

Nashville has a huge river, The Cumberland River that cuts through the downtown area of town. Through the years it has flooded a few times been low very seldom and as a whole it keep rolling on down the line. It has claimed a few lives of people who fell in, jumped in or in a few cases were pushed in, After growing up in western Oklahoma where rivers are few and far between, with little if any water in them except right after the rare rain, I have learned to appreciate the rivers that are out here. I love to sit and watch the water flow by and think about where it will wind up, makes a lazy day on a river bank more than a fishing trip.
