Walking around my truck last night I thought the tires looked a little low. The tread on the tires is really good – I have only had these tires for a little over 2 years. So I drove up to the gas station and had to pay a dollar to use their air hose. I was able to get 3 of the 4 tires filled with air before the dollar ran out. The 4th one is not so bad that I wanted to spend another dollar on just that one. But I wonder why they had gotten so low on air in the first place?

Now Using Rain Barrels

The rain barrels that we have been using for the past 3 or 4 weeks have been working out real well. Only one of them is needing a rain barrel downspout diverter, which I have ordered online today and should be getting next week. It’s amazing how much water gets poured into those things that I have been able to reuse for all kinds of purposes lately. The garden has been getting a lot of it which is helping with the well water that we seem to have issues with around the end of the summer each year and I’m sure this year won’t be any different. Most likely worse with all of the extreme heat we have been dealing with so far.

Only once in a while do I hear a song on the radio that really catches my attention enough to where I actually take the time to look it up on YouTube.com to see the video and possibly to see the lyrics, since there are always a certain amounts of words and phrases that one just isn’t exactly one hundred percent sure of. Anyway Neon Trees has just recently released this song “Everybody Talks” and low and behold it is now appearing here on my blog today.
