Northern Virginia Handyman

After the holidays are all over and done with I am going to have to look for some handyman services in northern virginia in order to get some of the issues taken care of around the place that I just don’t have the time or the tools or the experience to tend to.

If you are a home owner you well know how much time, effort and money it takes to keep the house up and running in so many ways, it just isn’t possible to get it all done on my own so a good quality northern virginia handyman will come in “handy” for most of my needs.

There are a few friends and family members that can and do come over on occasions to lend a hand with some projects but it seems that people are getting busier and busier these days and it isn’t always possible to impose on their time and talents. And now with the holidays and then the cold winter months ahead of us it will be more of a challenge so I’m just going to go ahead and pay a professional and get things moving.

Online Chat Rooms

My oldest daughter has started hanging out in an Online Chat Room, and to find out more about this new thing, new at least to me. I have started going into several of the online chat rooms that she goes into to make sure that she is safe. I worry about my daughter going into online chat rooms but so far everything looks safe and above that sane in the Online Chat Rooms that she goes into. I know that she is there to meet people her own age and have some fun, we did the same thing but we hung out at the drive in and at the ice cream stand and we went there to have fun and to meet our friends and I do not see a whole lot different between the two. Online Chat City seems to be a very nice place for the kids to hang out at and I wish they had an old man chat room for people my age.

Getting Her Done

Am thinking that I have just about got my Christmas presents under control for this year’s Christmas gift giving festivities that are less than 2 weeks away. This year I have not had to go to any store’s physical locations for any of the presents that I have purchased. I have used my laptop for the entire list 100%, and I couldn’t be happier. I just hope that all of my orders come in on time.

I’m still waiting on the jessica howard petite dresses for my very petite young niece as well as the hand sculptures for her mother, my eldest sister. Other than those two items and the large paper bags that I ordered to decorate and use to carry all the families loot home when all is over and done with and the place empties out late Christmas evening. The kids really enjoy decorating these bags for various family members to utilize, something that we have been doing for several years now, it has become kind of a tradition I suppose. We have always been an artsy crafty type of family so it is only fitting.

On the move again

My gypsy mother is on the move again, she is selling her beach home and moving to New York City to be near her sister. I know she is having fun in her retirement and I am glad she is happy. I know searching for Manhattan real estate can be a nightmare. She will need the very best agent in the city to help her on this journey.

The agent she is using, Prudential Douglas Elliman is New York’s Largest Real Estate Company, and have 60 offices in the New York area. I have faith that they will be able to assist my mother in her new home search. 1 out of every 5 household does business with Prudential and I am happy to have that level of service for my mom.

Call From Sister

Just got a disturbing phone call from my sister in Oklahoma, they have put my 93 year old grandmother in a nursing home, the aunt that has been taking care of her now has decided to sell her house and what little land she has, I am sure that money will disappear like much of the money my grandmother had has vanished. We are going to try and get out there to see grandma as soon as we can. I hate to get bad news on the phone it is very depressing, not to mention right before Christmas.
