On the move again

My gypsy mother is on the move again, she is selling her beach home and moving to New York City to be near her sister. I know she is having fun in her retirement and I am glad she is happy. I know searching for Manhattan real estate can be a nightmare. She will need the very best agent in the city to help her on this journey.

The agent she is using, Prudential Douglas Elliman is New York’s Largest Real Estate Company, and have 60 offices in the New York area. I have faith that they will be able to assist my mother in her new home search. 1 out of every 5 household does business with Prudential and I am happy to have that level of service for my mom.

Call From Sister

Just got a disturbing phone call from my sister in Oklahoma, they have put my 93 year old grandmother in a nursing home, the aunt that has been taking care of her now has decided to sell her house and what little land she has, I am sure that money will disappear like much of the money my grandmother had has vanished. We are going to try and get out there to see grandma as soon as we can. I hate to get bad news on the phone it is very depressing, not to mention right before Christmas.

New Lights

In our delivery business we have one very significant problem, we deliver newspapers at night, so finding addresses that are not well marked is a huge problem. In some of the neighborhoods we deliver into this problem haunts us nightly.

After doing a bit of searching we have found a solution to our problem. Golight has a very nice spotlight. This great light is perfect for our business, and Larson Electronics has a huge selection from which to choose, including the “Go Light” that I want to purchase.

They have everything from spot lights to flash lights and everything in between. The remote control spot lights are also very nice, and I am thinking about purchasing one of them in the near future.

In our business the inability to locate an address in the darkness of night can be very frustrating and this great light will help us to combat that. I love the fact that the black case color matches my Tahoe and will look very nice mounted on my truck. I think if you are looking to purchase spot lights for your fleet of vehicles, this web site can put you “into the light,” so to speak.

Poor Mindy

I have always had a thing for Mindy McCreedy, she is always in trouble and I guess it is a pity thing more than anything else. Her latest trouble mark that more than ever before. She is trying so hard to keep her name in print and on the air waves that she will do anything to stay in the public eye, and that is simply pitiful a feel sorry for her more than anything. She needs to find a life and get out of the public life she is not made for the grind.

Nurses Uniforms Scrubs

I think that I would have a problem with wearing any type of uniform to work, but I do see some of the advantages of having to wear one. Yes you do have to purchase these clothing items, so there is that cost right up front that can prove to be a challenge. Not being able to pull anything out of your closet would hurt me big time. But they have come a long way with today’s medical uniforms that are out there for the huge number of folks that are all ready in the medical field and for the steadily increasing and ever growing amount of people that are entering into this very stable and ever needed profession.

I have found a few sites online that have some nice looking clearance nurses uniforms scrubs that I think would look cute on my kid sister. My goodness, if we wait too much longer we will have to give them to her on her birthday – instead of Christmas.

I might have to just break down and call them and see what I can get out of them on the phone, but if I do that I have to know that I will have several hours that nothing will need my attention. You get me and any of my sisters on the phone and you can count on us talking for at least 45 minutes and many times much more than that. And I have 3 sisters that I have to call!!!
