Vacation loan

With the price of everything going through the roof the only way I can see the family taking a vacation this year is to get a vacation loan. After doing some searching I found a great site to apply for a vacation loan. When applying for these Vacation Loans you only need to have a job, a phone number, and either a savings or checking account and VacationLoan.com will help get you the money you need. It is so nice to find someone who will help in these tough times. Check it out and I think you will be pleased with this site.

Student Loans

As it has been many, many years since I was in college, and I remember that student loans were the main reason I was able to go to college and I really appreciate the fact that student loans were there to help me. Now that my own children are getting ready to start their college experience I am so very glad there is still a great student loan program for them to use when they are ready to start school.

We have started looking for different student loan programs to get a feel for what is available and what we have found amazes me. Credit Loans has a great web site that has so very much information, it was almost overwhelming at first to see that much information on one site.

This fine web site was able to give me answers to all of my questions about student loans and to help my daughter decide which kind of student loan she would need this fall when she goes to college. The lowdown on student loans, was the most helpful section and encouraged me to go ahead and apply for a student loan for myself and to finish my degree that has been hanging for 26 years. I really want to thank this fine program for helping both of us get set up for our student loans and thanks for having such a great web site.

It’s All About Coupons These Days

It’s all about saving as much money as possible these days. This economy isn’t getting any better like we all were hoping it would be by now. People are still losing jobs, their houses, their cars and other various personal belongings. Jobs are still very hard to come by, although I have been seeing a few help wanted signs on billboards and entrance doors/windows. Mainly at fast food places and other minimum wage opportunities, which keeps a lot of people from applying, although it seems to me that a minimum wage job is certainly better than no job, but what do I know, sigh….

Shopping at thrift stores, dollar stores, bargain stores, yard sales and the like is becoming more necessary for so many people. And of course using coupons is such a big to do that there are even TV shows about how to save hundreds and thousands of dollars by using coupons. Using coupons isn’t limited to using in stores in town, but are abundant for online shoppers as well. Last week I found some good deals at frugaldad.com and their coupons for timberland shoes to get a sweet deal on some shoes that I’ve been looking for but couldn’t afford to pay full price for, so I’m grateful to have found another great website that is helping make the most out of the cash that I do have that I can use for personal purchases, which isn’t much these days.

My sister’s and I look out for deals for each other, which is very helpful in these hard times. Facebook is another way to find good information other than just keeping up with what friends and family are up to in their daily lives. I’m so glad that I finally submitted to signing up and getting my own Facebook account, I never would have thought how much I rely on it for so many things. I just wish that my mother would get on there more often. She is being a pain in the rear about learning the few things that she needs to learn on how to maneuver around there. It really isn’t all that difficult but she isn’t the best on the computer when it comes to anything other than email, which a lot of seniors tend to do. Next time I go over there I’m going to sit her down and spend some time with her in order to try and get her up to speed. It’s a tough job but some body’s got to do it.

Virtual Yard Sales

So far I have purchased two items off of our area’s couple of virtual yard sale sties that I have found on Facebook. A play kitchen for my two year old niece that she really wanted for Christmas, but didn’t get and a futon mattress to replace the old mattress that got ruined several months back. I got good deals on both items, both items in good shape and the people were friendly enough during the whole process.

This is so much better than driving around all over town looking for yard sales.

School Days

It’s too bad that I wasn’t interested in History back in the days of my formal education. The old saying of “youth is wasted on the young” certainly holds true in this case. What I wouldn’t give to be able to go back to school and really take advantage of all that an education – especially in History could and can provide me.

I was telling my mom the other day that I really would like to go back to school and she is urging me to go ahead and give it a try. Well easier said then done at this point in my life, so many obstacles are in the way. Time is an issue, and although I know that you can take classes online I think that I would be better in a formal classroom situation. And of course money is a big issue as well.

My mother was telling me of all the financial aid information that is available right online, she even tells me that there is help for left handed students which is way cool since I am left handed. She is going to send me a couple of links to some websites that she was telling me about with this type of information for me to take a look at. I’m getting excited just thinking about going back to school. Where there is a will there is a way, right?
