Skiing and Snowboarding at Breckenridge

Here we are at the end of February and a lot of states are having snow this weekend. From Northern Texas and up into North Dakota and Minnesota, there has been a lot of snow/rain/sleet with a good amount of flooding this past week. Most of the popular Western ski resorts in Colorado and Wyoming are still open with great skiing conditions. Since Spring Break will be here in a couple of weeks for a lot of areas, I’m thinking about taking my sister’s oldest son with me up to Breckenridge for a long weekend. I’ll ski and he can go snowboarding for a couple days. It would be nice to have some fresh air and exercise.

My nephew has never been on a snowboard before and is excited at the idea. We were looking on the Internet at some snowboarding sites and he has picked out a couple great Burton snowboards that he would like to buy for the trip. Since this is the end of the season, a lot of the snowboards are on sale for great savings online with a huge selection of board styles.
