Tiger strikes again

Tuesday, June 17th, 2008

Is it not amazing that Tiger Woods keeps on winning the major golf tournaments, even when he is standing on one leg as he was this last weekend. I am not a huge Tiger fan but you can not help but admire the heart of the man. He is a winner and I love watching him work a course. Down the stretch he may be the finest golfer of all time and it has been a pleasure watching him work. Good job Tiger keep up the good work.

Unsafe food

Tuesday, June 10th, 2008

Everyday it seems we have more and more unsafe food in our world. How long will it be and there will be no good food left, unless you grow it yourself do you really know how safe your food you buy is. I try to buy the best produce possible and the best meat but everyday there is a recall of one sort or another. Everything we eat is processed to one degree or another, it is very hard to raise your own meat when you live in a city, maybe moving to the country is one option.

Big Brown Dud

Monday, June 9th, 2008

In what was hyped as the chance of a century for a horse to win the triple crown, Big Brown laid an egg in the Belmont Stakes race on Saturday, there is no easy or nice way to say it he laid as big of an egg as I have ever seen in a horse race, he did not even show up at all. I was so very disappointed in his performance as were 99% of the people who watched the race. Let us hope the next triple crown threat has more moxie than the last one.

End of a dream

Saturday, June 7th, 2008

It looks like the dream that Hillary Clinton had of becoming President of the United States is coming to an end today, I am not sure if she will be on the ticket in November as the Vice Presidential candidate, I for one hope not, I can not dream of her being a heart beat away from being the leader of our country. It looks like holes are forming in John McCain’s strategy and he is fading quickly. It is a long time till the election and funny things happen in every election.

Traffic mess

Friday, June 6th, 2008

The traffic today was horrible on my way home tonight I saw five accidents just in the twenty two miles that I traveled. Out of the five wrecks that I saw, four of them included red cars. I have written before about the link between bad drivers and red cars, I feel that as soon as you sit in a red car your IQ drops twenty-five points, add in using a cell phone and a wreck is sure to happen. Drive safely and do not buy red cars.
