Discount Hot Tub and Spa Supplies

It is good to know that I can just jump online to find most of the things that I need now a days instead of having to run into town each time I discover that I need or want some thing. Today I found a great website that sells the hot tub filters that I need for the new hot tub that we got last year that I so enjoy soaking all of my aches and pains away in when ever I want in my own back yard.

At hottubspasupplies.com they have a great selection of discount hot tub and spa supplies, I even found that they are currently offering a great deal on the hot tub chemicals that all hot tubs require to keep them safe and clean. And the fact that they accept PayPal makes them even more appealing to online shoppers like myself that only use PayPal for online purchases, which I’m glad to hear more companies are finally coming around to realizing since more and more folks are using the Internet for a good amount of their shopping needs.

Unique Address Plaques

I’ve noticed that there are a lot of nice custom address plaques being used on a lot more homes these days. I’ve been urged by my BFF to get a new mailbox as well as one of the personalized address plaques that are out on today’s market, since I live out here alone and this old mailbox has seen better days. It seems that it would make it easier for the emergency personnel to find the place if needed, the pizza and Chinese food delivery person would benefit from it as well!

Now since I’ve been looking around for a new address sign a bit online I’ve really been noticing the address signs that are being used by many of my neighbors and the folks in town as well. I’m surprised to see as many of the whitehall address plaques that I’ve been eyeballing on the Internet. Guess I didn’t pay that much attention to what people were using until I started looking for one. When I buy the one for my use I want it to be original and nothing even close to what I’ve been seeing around here, unique is what I’m looking for because I’m a unique type of person. LOL

Tarps To The Rescue

This weekend I was planning on taking a load of stuff to the local outside flea market that is still open since it hasn’t turned bitter cold yet. I have taken a good amount of time to gather up and sort a bunch of stuff, besides deciding on the price to ask and then tagging it all, and have the van loaded ready to go. So what really is upsetting is that the weatherman is telling us that there is a slight chance of rain coming our way. Not that I ever put any faith in what any weather person predicts, but it still makes me a bit uneasy.

I decided to go ahead and continue with my plans, but now I have to gather up some tarps to take along to protect everything in case it does rain. I’m afraid that I might only have those ugly blue tarps out back, I’d much prefer to have clear tarps so that people can still see what is on the tables and continue selling to the customers that still continue to shop even through rains. And I really don’t like the look of those blue tarps, never have, seen to many in the yards of trailer parks I guess.

Safety First with Rubber Mulch

It has taken a while but the new school playground looks as if it is about ready to be played on by all of the school kids that have been without a playground for way too long. Too bad this opening is going to happen at this time of the year. It is getting colder with each passing day, the holidays are fast approaching us and the schools are closed more than they are open from Thanksgiving straight through to the New Year. January seems to be such a strange month to have a Grand Opening as they are now planning out come the first of the year.

The neighborhood kids will have a blast though, school playgrounds are always enjoyed by all of the other kids through out the year, during the evening hours and the weekends, so at least some one will be enjoying the new playground surface built with today’s new and improved rubber mulch. The same shredded rubber mulch, manufactured by Rubberecycle, that was used for the first family’s (The Obama’s) new playground that they had built at the White House pretty much as soon as they moved into the White House to help entertain their two young daughters and their many friends. I remember how that particular event made the headlines and how proud everyone was that the Obama’s had chosen this particular environment friendly bulk rubber mulch.

Anyone remember seeing this picture in the papers, the TV and all over the Internet?

Lo Jack for Bikes

Got a flier in the mail today that actually caught my interest. Usually I don’t even glance at the junk mail and just toss it in the trash, but for some reason – maybe the photo of the rad bike on the front – I took a look at the flier from Progressive Insurance about their new program offering LoJack for bikes. LoJack is offering Progressive Insurance customers a $50 rebate and Progressive is offering a 20% discount in a partnership to promote this new stolen vehicle recovery system.

I didn’t know until I read this flier that LoJack is the only stolen vehicle recovery system actually operated by the police. Having LoJack installed gives bike owners more peace of mind that their bike is safe or will be quickly recovered if stolen. That along with the money saving incentives from both companies has me putting this flier aside and I’ll look at it again tomorrow with the thought of signing up for this.
