Every day it seems that the price of gas goes up a bit more. Yesterday it jumped 11 cents at one station, it had the lowest prices in town and it went to one of the highest. The top price here now is at $3.79. I am sure it is not going to come down anytime soon. I have thought about buying some gas cans and hording some but I do not know if that would be smart or not.
Last night was the Nashville Predators pick a seat promotion for next year. This is the first year we have not went and picked a seat. We are not very happy with the Predators front office they tried to extort playoff tickets from us, so we just watched the games on TV. They keep going up on their prices and that does not sit well with us. The promo items that they give away are not geared towards us, non of the t-shirts fir, their idea of one size fits all is a joke, every shirt I get I have to give away for they are a size I have not worn since high school. We may or we may not go to any games next year it depends.
If Amy Winehouse does not get her life in order she will slide from the radar faster than a stealth jet under fire. I am one of these people who grow more and more tired of the lame act that the celebrities keep putting us through. One gets arrested this last weekend for carrying a loaded gun in his carry on luggage and can only say I forgot. They deserve to go to jail and I hope some judge finally gets tired of the lame act and sens a star to jail for a long time.
Tennessee is so far over budget that they are going to lay off 2000 employees. All the while the Governor and his idiot wife continue with the project that only they want, the controversial ball room under the mansion in South Nashville. No one in the neighborhood wants this stupid project, the money being wasted on this project could go towards the state budget and maybe keep a few jobs in the mean time. Go ahead Bredesan lay them workers off and see who comes to fix your water pipes when they break. NO ONE they all got laid off.
