Kitchen Wall Spice Racks

I’ve decided to go ahead with my first plan of buying my mother a spice rack for Christmas. Her old wall spice rack fell and broke into a million pieces a few months ago, what a mess that was! Now I don’t proclaim to know a whole heck of a lot about spice racks, but I’ve been taking a bit of time and looking around online and I’ve seen a few kitchen spice racks that I think she would welcome into her kitchen.

My mother is one of the best cooks around and she really depends on her spices. I’m not sure why she hasn’t replaced the broken one, except that maybe she knew it would be a good gift idea for someone to get for her for Christmas, much like I plan to do. My mother is a hard one to buy presents for, so this is the perfect opportunity for me to get her something that she really needs and hopefully will use for a very, very long time to come.

Guns and Airports

How does it seem that we always hear about movie stars and athletes that carry guns to the airport and get caught. How does someone with normal intelligence not remember that they happened to have a gun in the one bag they choose to carry on the airplane. The list of people who had this stupid moment in their lives is huge. John Smith of Nowhere USA does not try to carry a gun on the plane why do the celebrities think they get a pass on this law.

Sail away

Today would be perfect to be on the lake in a sail boat. Only one problem we do not have a sail boat. I would love to have a nice sail boat but that would mean that I would need to learn to sail a boat and at my age I am not sure if I could even learn to do that! I mean as you get older it tends to be harder to learn some things! On a more serious note I would love to learn to sail a boat I think it would be a lot of fun and something that is on my bucket list.

One of the best things about having the Tennessee Titans train here in Nashville is they allow the public to attend most of the practices at Baptist Sports Park. I have gone as much as having a full time job will allow and it is a very fun place to take my seven year old grandson. David loves the football players and has been to a few games but I think the most fun he has is when he goes to one of the practices there is so much activity it boggles the mind.

Baseball

The best part of spring to me is the start of the baseball season. No matter how bad your team is that one day everyone is tied for first place and has a shot at the World Series. As I have gotten to old to play even softball any more I spend a lot more time watching baseball games.
