On my summer trip to Las Vegas I am going to play a lot of golf. I play as often as I can here in Nashville but the big time courses in Las Vegas are what I want to be able to play.

Last weekend we attended my oldest sisters wedding in Louisville Kentucky, I was amazed at the wonderful ceremony and everything went so very well. One of the best parts was the amazing photographer they had at this wedding.

The wedding cake was a beautiful ting it was 5 feet tall and was a beautiful white with yellow flowers, the cake was a delicious lemon cake, the pictures of this cake made it look as good as it tasted. The pictures of the family were taken in such good taste you could not tell that several of the guys really did not want to be there, but at any wedding you have people who do not want to be there and the photographer can make them look like they were the happiest people there.

My oldest has decided that she wants to go to a surf camp this summer, and I am very excited, I think she will have a lot of fun besides learning to surf will be a blast in its self. When you pick summer camps for your kids you want them to have fun and stay safe and hope they learn a little from the experience. With so very many to choose from picking the best is always your goal, and I have found what looks to be the very best to me.

I am quite excited that my daughter is going to learn to surf, I wish I had the chance to learn this great fun sport when I was young. Surfing is very good exercise and fun at the same time. The trip to California will be an adventure in it’s self, she has never been on a plane before and it will be a lot of fun for her. She will be staying at my sisters house while she is in California, that will be an adventure alone.

With today being Fathers Day I just wanted to wish my dad a happy fathers day, it has been a while since I have seen or talked to my dad, he lives across the country and my hours do not make it easy to keep in touch, but I am going to get up early tomorrow and give him a call. It is hard when your family is growing older and much harder to keep in close touch when you live apart. We are going to make a huge effort to get back to Oklahoma this year and see my family, after June 30th it will be much easier as we are cutting back on our work load then.

How does it seem that we always hear about movie stars and athletes that carry guns to the airport and get caught. How does someone with normal intelligence no remember that they happened to have a gun in the one bag they choose to carry on the airplane. The list of people who had this stupid moment in their lives is huge and got one more member today, when a member of the Tennessee Titans got caught at the Nashville airport trying to carry a gun on the plane. John Smith of Nowhere USA does not try to carry a gun on the plane why do the celebrities think they get a pass on this law.
