Grissom

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

On my favorite show the character of Gil Grissom is being written out of the show. I do not know if the show can go on with out him, he is such a critical part of the make up of the show.  When he took a few shows off to do some theater this last season it was a down swing at least for me. I will not be happy when he leaves and will wait to see if the producers make the show better with out Grissom or if the show just fades away like most do when the star leaves.

Comcast sucks

Sunday, June 22nd, 2008

As the only show I watch on a weekly basis comes on my cable messes up again, Comcast is not doing a very good job with the cable in this area maybe it is time to invest in a satellite dish and tell Comcast where to stick their poor service. Every time I want to watch a show I have to deal with poor reception or no picture at all, add in that they do not carry Sports South and it is the death blow as far as I am concerned.

Tiger strikes again

Tuesday, June 17th, 2008

Is it not amazing that Tiger Woods keeps on winning the major golf tournaments, even when he is standing on one leg as he was this last weekend. I am not a huge Tiger fan but you can not help but admire the heart of the man. He is a winner and I love watching him work a course. Down the stretch he may be the finest golfer of all time and it has been a pleasure watching him work. Good job Tiger keep up the good work.

Ice Road Truckers

Monday, June 16th, 2008

I have discovered a new show that I love to watch, The Ice Road Truckers comes on the History Channel and I love it we caught the marathon for last years shows before the new season started and we are hooked. It is a great show with enough color to keep my interest for an hour. The characters are very feisty and rough it makes for a really fun show to watch, it is the only show that we set in stone to watch. I am going to order the first season and watch all of it again while I am watching the second season.

Big Brown Dud

Monday, June 9th, 2008

In what was hyped as the chance of a century for a horse to win the triple crown, Big Brown laid an egg in the Belmont Stakes race on Saturday, there is no easy or nice way to say it he laid as big of an egg as I have ever seen in a horse race, he did not even show up at all. I was so very disappointed in his performance as were 99% of the people who watched the race. Let us hope the next triple crown threat has more moxie than the last one.
