I watch David Letterman every night, I must admit that I fall asleep some time during the broadcast and I wish there was an easy way to get his show on during prime time. The Letterman show is so much better than the other late night shows. More professional in every way. Paul Allen Wood Shaffer is the very best band leader of our day and I have followed his career since the days of the Saturday Night Live music which I really loved. Bring Letterman to prime time!

Tonight was the finale of this seasons Amazing Race, we have been fans of this great show since it started and it is a show that I stop working to watch. This season the winners were a brother and sister, Tammy and Victor won the race and they played fair and honest the entire way. I was rooting for the deaf boy and his mother and they gave it a great try, I was very proud of they way they finished the Amazing Race. Someday I would love to be on that show, I think we would do well and we do make a great team and that is half the battle.

3 of the 4 football games played this weekend the underdogs won. The only favorites to win were the Pittsburgh Steelers all of the others including my team the Tennessee Titans lost. I have one dog left in the hunt my Arizona Cardinals won their game big against the Carolina Panthers yesterday and they will host their second playoff game this year on Sunday against the Eagles. Good thing I did not bet on the games I would of lost my butt. The only one I picked right was the Cardinals game and that was just because they are my team.

The Olympics start in 2 days and I fear I will miss a lot of the action this year due to work. I have watched every Olympics since 1968. I have not missed much in that time I used to video tape the days action and then watch it later on. I do not have a recorder at this time so that is not an option, I wish they had it on demand so I could watch it later on. I keep up with the results in the newspaper and online so I at least know who wins and what is going on while I am working. A lot of great performances will be missed by me this year and it makes me very sad.

On my favorite show the character of Gil Grissom is being written out of the show. I do not know if the show can go on with out him, he is such a critical part of the make up of the show. When he took a few shows off to do some theater this last season it was a down swing at least for me. I will not be happy when he leaves and will wait to see if the producers make the show better with out Grissom or if the show just fades away like most do when the star leaves.
