So while the guys where at my folks the other day taking care of all of the door and window replacement issues that they have been dealing with as of late, they recommended that my folks check into having a full fledged home energy audit in new jersey to see what else they can do to help keep the cost of energy down at the old home stead. It doesn’t look like any type of energy prices are going to be going down any time soon and now is better than later to get as green as possible in any way that you can, especially in your own home.

There really is a lot of assistance with home repairs businesses and programs all over the country now a days. And considering how hot this summer looks like it will become, I just can’t imagine my parents sweating it out trying to conserve their electricity costs or sweating it out trying to figure out how to pay for that high cost. So now it looks like I’ve got to start looking for a company that does this type of work and some insulation assistance in the state of NJ to get lined up over the weekend.

They have taken the guess work out of the task of finding which website hosting company has the best options for your use, whether it’s for personal or business use. They have the top ten list of 2011 on their home page, an independent review of today’s web hosting providers.

Upon further clicking about, I’m glad to report that they also are providing the Top 10 Eco-friendly Web Hosts, green is the color of the century and I’m all about being as green as possible. These top ten green web hosts use alternative energy to to power their data centers in many ways, which are all good options that we all could be using. They plant trees, recycle, and purchase RECs for power needs. You just gotta love and respect their efforts for their eco friendly web hosting products.

They have an interesting blog page that is worth the time to read. They do address the important of website security, which is a hot topic these days, with all the new viruses and the ridiculous hacking that is taking place now more than ever and costing all us millions of precious dollars.

Insulation Assistance Energy Audit

Since we have had such mild weather for almost a year now we are being told that “nothing good lasts forever” and to expect to pay dearly this winter, but so far we have lucked out with very minimal snow. Since the middle of August it started cooling off drastically, the leaves started turning and even falling off some of the trees, something that normally doesn’t happen until mid to late September, pretty unusual for these parts. From what I hear from friends and family in other states we aren’t the only ones dealing with wacky weather lately.

My parents recently scheduled a home energy audit in because my dad just retired and they are looking for ways to reduce their monthly bills and they have found out that there is insulation assistance and we all know how expensive insulation can be, but then we also know how expensive your energy bill can be without a good insulation job in your place of residence or any building for that matter.

I just hope that they didn’t wait too long to check into this assistance with home repairs and that they can get something done before old man winter really cops an attitude (it is February for goodness sake) and starts blasting us all with his freezing temperatures, wind and snow, which could happen any day with this crazy weather lately.

It seems that every time I turn around I am hearing the specialist telling us ways to reduce our bills. The problem is that they are always telling us the same old same old ways. Considering how long our economy has been in trouble, these lists of ways to save seriously need some new ideas for us to try and utilize.

There is one thing that I don’t hear a lot about is the benefits of having an home energy audit done on your place of residence. They have specialists that can and will perform a diagnostic assessment and then help you determine what cost effective measures that you can take to make your home as comfortable as it should be as well as reducing your monthly energy bills.

There are ways to apply for the federal grants for home improvement that can help with the cost of making your home more energy efficient. Gas Guzzler

Look at what it cost me for gas today. This didn’t even fill it up. The pump cut off because the gas station will not authorize sales over $100 unless you are paying cash, in advance. This has been such a roller coaster ride these past couple of years as the gas tank. Just when the prices are getting back down to under $3.00 a gallon they start shooting up again for know rhyme or reason.
