Guitar Strings for Classic Electric Guitars

For years now I’ve been strolling down memory lane, looking at pictures of my old friends from school. I came across one picture in particular and it hit me. I used to be in a band my friends and I had put together while in school, and I instantly wanted to get the old band together again after all these years.

I had called around to see if everyone wanted to get together and try to play again like old times. Everyone was thrilled and excited to hear that I wanted to get the old band back together, and visit each other after all this time. I had asked everyone if they had their old instruments, knowing my old guitar was stuffed away in a storage unit my Mother has been renting for a few years.

I called my Mom and asked if she could come along with me to the storage unit to look for my old guitar and to my surprise she would meet me there in an hour. After ripping and tarring the unit apart, I had finally found my old guitar. My strings needed replacing for sure, so I went on home after putting everything back and sat down at my computer to look around on the net for classic electric guitar strings. In no time I found an awesome site that offered the best strings for an unbelievable price.

Needless to say when I got my guitar ready and everyone was here, we jammed out and had a great visit.

Cheap Rental Cars for Summer Vacation

Its about time to start getting ready for summer vacation, and I couldn’t be more excited for it. A few friends of mine from back in high school and I have been talking a lot during the last winter and have been making plans to travel around and find the best place to let loose for the summer.
I have recently just bought a new car and am not too thrilled with the idea of taking it on the road for so long, and putting so many miles on it so soon. Luckily a rental car came to mind, but I had never rented a car before and had no idea where to start. My friend Harry, who is one of the few friends of mine who wants to come on our summer road trip, he has rented a few cars in his time before and gave me some pointers on how to find reliable and cheap rental cars.
I jumped on the computer with him the other night and had found a site that makes finding a cheap rental car as easy as one, two, three. I now have a nice ride to travel in and find the perfect summer getaway with all my good buddies. I can only imagine the experiences, and fun we will have. Needless to say I feel completely at ease knowing I have reliable transportation that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, and completely stoked about all of the fun we will have together.

Mosaic Glass Tiles

It seems that Judy’s hubby who she just recently married as is now living out in the boonies of Wisconsin, has gotten Judy into the remodeling mode for her own home. They have just recently moved into a house left to her by her late uncle, she fixed it up just enough so that they could move in to and now wants to go the next step further.

The first room is going to be her bath and she emailed some really cool pics and links that are just awesome. One site has a nice selection of hand painted porcelain sinks with just a splash of a little Mexican flair, that are just gorgeous, Judy and I both then fell in love with the glass tile products at another website as well and now she is definitely going for the beautiful glass mosaic tiles that we both agreed on there. It seems that I am involved with more of the choices then her hubby has been.  LOL

Judy’s mother had told her about Edenmosaictile.com, seems she had run across this website while she had been looking for some unique glass tiles for their outside pool area. Judy’s mom did have some lovely decorative ceramic tile work done that is so vibrant and beautifully colored, I’ve seen the pictures of course, thank goodness for the Internet so that we can share such goodies so easily.

Yakima Bicycle Racks

Trying to figure out which type of car rack to purchase to transport my bicycle back and forth wasn’t has big of a deal as I first thought. The yakima racks have gotten my attention and I’m anxious to go ahead and place my order. The weather is just going to get hotter and hotter as the days go by and the humidity always takes it toll on me each summer, so I need to get my butt in gear and get on my bicycle while we can enjoy the wonderful spring weather that has finally arrived.

There are plenty of bike trails around here, but they are too far away for me to ride my bike to, so it’s important to get the perfect rack for my car to help me get myself and my bike. I’ve seen some pretty interesting bike racks before, but never thought that I would be in the market for one for myself.

I have really enjoyed finally getting on and learning my way around Face Book. There have so many benefits that I have found for having a Face Book account that I can’t imagine not having this type of social media at my finger tips anymore. Not that I spend a whole lot of time on there but once a day I sign in and see what is going on with friends and family all over the country, and a few over seas. I still have a few things to learn that I am struggling with but with time I do believe I will have most of it under control.

Last night I spend some time online looking for folks that I used to work with at a large national insurance company back in the 90′s and I was surprised that I actually found a few that are on Face Book as well. The one guy that I really wanted to find again has a very unique name, so only took a few minutes to locate him. When I worked with him he was going to college to study law, working full time as a claims rep and being a single dad to a pretty little 3 year old, who is now a drop dead gorgeous 20 year old, according to the pictures on his Wall. He is now a hot shot lawyer in Washington D.C. working for a large well known international e-commerce law firm and doing very well for himself. Still not married, but living the life of Riley I would imagine. Making good money, living in the big city, tall, dark and handsome, heck ya.

All of the other folks that I found have not responded to my friend request yet. But I’m hoping that over the weekend they will sign on and see that I’m waiting to hear from them. I hope that they recognize my name after all of these years. I wish Face Book would let you send a comment along with their friend requests, that would save a lot of time, effort and possible trouble, if you know what I mean.
