Yakima Bicycle Racks

Trying to figure out which type of car rack to purchase to transport my bicycle back and forth wasn’t has big of a deal as I first thought. The yakima racks have gotten my attention and I’m anxious to go ahead and place my order. The weather is just going to get hotter and hotter as the days go by and the humidity always takes it toll on me each summer, so I need to get my butt in gear and get on my bicycle while we can enjoy the wonderful spring weather that has finally arrived.

There are plenty of bike trails around here, but they are too far away for me to ride my bike to, so it’s important to get the perfect rack for my car to help me get myself and my bike. I’ve seen some pretty interesting bike racks before, but never thought that I would be in the market for one for myself.

Today is April first better known as April fools day, kind of makes you wonder who has pulled the best April fools joke. I saw one today on the Internet that showed a baseball player the team pulled a joke on and held a news conference to tell him he had been sent to the minors. He made the team is was just the teams way to make him feel at home and foolish at the same time.

Here we are at the end of February and a lot of states are having snow this weekend. From Northern Texas and up into North Dakota and Minnesota, there has been a lot of snow/rain/sleet with a good amount of flooding this past week. Most of the popular Western ski resorts in Colorado and Wyoming are still open with great skiing conditions. Since Spring Break will be here in a couple of weeks for a lot of areas, I’m thinking about taking my sister’s oldest son with me up to Breckenridge for a long weekend. I’ll ski and he can go snowboarding for a couple days. It would be nice to have some fresh air and exercise.

My nephew has never been on a snowboard before and is excited at the idea. We were looking on the Internet at some snowboarding sites and he has picked out a couple great Burton snowboards that he would like to buy for the trip. Since this is the end of the season, a lot of the snowboards are on sale for great savings online with a huge selection of board styles. In fact, I just saw that we can save over 50% off Burton snow gear, so we can get some great bargains and not spend very much money on a quick getaway.
